About this tool
We build software products, and the same requirement kept surfacing across clients: verify a UK business before you onboard, partner, or lend. Companies House holds authoritative data on every registered company, but wiring it into each product separately meant duplicated integration work and inconsistent reporting.
We consolidated that into one internal service. It proxies the Companies House Public Data API, keeps company records up to date, and raises alerts when something material changes. New charges, director appointments, status shifts: teams get notified instead of finding out weeks later in a manual check.
The demo above is a public slice of that stack. Search by name or number, pick the right match from live suggestions, and read registration details, compliance status, directors, PSC, charges, and filing history as a single report. We normalise responses server-side and paginate charges and filings so the initial load stays fast while still exposing the full history.
